Covington Catholic Kid Sues CNN and Washpo: $275 MILLION!

Ya saw it coming, but apparently CNN, The Washington Post and other mainstream media outlets did not!

Covington High School student, Nickolas Sandman’s attorneys have filed suit against the Washington Post and CNN for “compensatory and punitive damages” to the tune of $250 Million and CNN for $275 Million. The suits are based on a video of Sandman wearing a MAGA hat while attending a March for Life rally. His “encounter” with Nathan Phillips, an Native American activist sparked the controversy. Another video surface a few days later to provide context.

“I was not intentionally making faces at the protester………I did smile at one point because I wanted him to know that I was not going to become angry, intimidated or be provoked into a larger confrontation.”

Nicholas Sandman

“……. wrongfully targeted and bullied Nicholas because he was the white, Catholic student wearing a red ‘Make America Great Again’ souvenir cap on a school field trip to the January 18 March for Life in Washington, D.C.”

Sandman Lawsuit

“……elevated false, heinous accusations of racist conduct [against Sandmann] and failed to adhere to “well-established journalistic standards and ethics.”
