First Person on Mars Will Likely Be a Woman: NASA

So much for men being from Mars and women from Venus.

Jim Bridenstine, the Administrator of NASA teased that a woman is “likely to be” the first person to step foot on the “Red Planet”.

At the end of this month, the first all female spacewalk will take place.
Astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch have been assigned to the 7 hour Extravehicular Activity.

“NASA is committed to making sure we have a broad and diverse set of talent and we’re looking forward to the first woman on the moon.”
