Looks like someone rushed out the door without looking down. It was Democratic Senator Tina Smith, from Minnesota, who wore mismatched shoes to the Trump impeachment trial.
It probably didn’t help the prosecutors leading up to Trump being acquitted, but at least she kept people entertained and posted it on Twitter for all to get a laugh.
She wrote, “Think I had a lot on my mind this morning,” and shared a photo of her shoes. One looks shiny and golden while the other looks to be a darker flat color in a different fabric.
At least they were on the correct foot.
