Ya can’t make up this kinda stuff!
Rookie Dwayne Haskins picked up his first win as an NFL starting quarterback Sunday.
But it appears he missed the final play of the game because he was taking a selfie with fans.
After the Washington Redskins picked off Jeff Driskel with a few seconds left to effectively seal their 19-16 win over the Detroit Lions, it was backup quarterback Case Keenum rather than Haskins on the field for the final kneeldown. The television broadcast showed Haskins instead taking a picture with fans seated in the first row.
Interim coach Bill Callahan said in his postgame news conference that coaches were looking for Haskins but couldn’t find him, so Keenum went in for the last play.
“We were looking for (Haskins)……..I think he thought it was over. So yeah, I’ll have to find out a little bit more.”Bill Callahan

After the game, former Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann tweeted out strongly worded criticism for Haskins.
“I was so hype, I think I broke a water bottle…….. I look up and we’re in victory (formation). I thought the game was over with already. But I’ll get it next time.”Dwayne Haskins
