Former Inmate, Brightens Lives of Cancer Patients

Kurt Stapleton crochets hats to help keep the heads of cancer patients warm.

Kurt Stapleton, 42 of Madison Wisconsin, learned to crochet in prison 10 years ago. He now makes knit caps for cancer patients.

“About a year ago, I initially posted something about making chemo hats and friends shared it……….I got a lot more than I anticipated.”
